A Stage.

This is a floating stage on Lake Constance in Bregenz, Austria. The Bregenz Festival is using this stage for shows and became famous with this stage. Verdi’s opera, “A Masked Ball” in 1999, featured a giant book being read by a skeleton.

It is a slopped stage so I’m not sure if it is comfortable to perform on this stage and even it is a really big stage almost the half of it is cut with the hand of the skeleton so there remains a little space to perform.

On the other hand as an audience watching a show performed on that stage must be very interesting and amazing because it is a magnificent stage and there is a gothic ambience that may attract the audience.

  1. I would want to watch a performance on this stage. It surely looks very interesting. but I would get a bit distracted while watching the performance because the stage is already enough interesting on its own =)) I would be a bit distracted. However I agree with you. performing on a stage such as this one surely adds something to the performance. nice find =)

I always thought how crazy can a theater stage could be. I think i found my answer. This is amazing i would really love to perform something on a stage like this someday. I think whether the performance is good or not they take the audiences credit from the start.

It is really attractive. But I don’t think the audience would be disattracted by the decoration because I’m sure it has to do something with the game, telling something. Besides it is stable, people are performing. I really would like to watch the performance. Nice share.

It seems really interesting . I have never seen a stage designed like this before and also it is placed in water , i also liked it. I am sure watching a performance there would be fun:)

  2. this stage is both so creepy and interesting. I am not sure whether I feel if I see giant skeleton like that:) It is definitely so cool and it must be helpful to increase ambiance of the play.
